hve any of you ever seen those trees? Thos trees are the biggest eye sore on campus and they need to cut them down.

Thirteen years is too much for killing the trees, but not for beating your wife.

I do not want a plea on this case, I want him and his supporters to be exposed for what they are.

13 years?
Joran van Der sloot will be released from prison before Harvey would be.

Tell me how that makes sense.

13 years for poisoning trees is crazy. There are murderers that don't spend that much time in jail. He deserves some jail time, but sure not 13 years.

If Harvey poisoned a tree in Brazil it would have only been 1 month.

So...people shouldn't get in trouble for attempted murder? Attempted robbery? Etc

It depends on which fanbase they're from.

Free Harvey! I'll be starting a Facebook page so all real Bama fans can get on a visitation schedule to see him in prison.

Why doesn't he just say he didn't do it? Did they have test tubes of that stuff he used on his property? Just seems like it's all based on confession to a radio host. Truly a stupid criminal and horrble defense if that's all they have on him. Even the poison would be circumstantial as their were no eye witnesses. I'm not going to even read into this because it's really a waste of time. If someone wants to explain what is so air tight about this case, I'll read it on here

For what I understand, most of the evidence is circumstantial.
1. He called and admitted to what he did, the call was traced. Auburn checked it out and what he claimed he used is the exact stuff used.
2. The stuff used is a really regulated poison, like a drop kills a bush kind of industrial strength. He dumped a few gallons around it or something ridiculous.
3. He has access to the stuff used even though you need a permit to have it or he had empty bottles of the stuff.
4. I thought he even admitted it and said he didn't care who knew he did it at one point. Now that he is in deep shite, he is claiming that he didn't.

Bottom line is that if the poison had sat for another week or so, or if we had a big rain the night it happened it could have gotten into the water table. If that shite got in the water table then he could have been on trial for domestic terrorism right now.

I personally think he should do a couple months in jail and then have to repay any amount of money the city has to spend to deal with the trees. If they end up removing the trees, they will likely have to tear out portions of the intersection and repave. Have ole' Harvey pay all of that costs and any costs that have already been incurred. Make him pay it over the course of a few years, if he fails to pay his newly found debt, throw him in jail forever.

13 years for a plea? They had to know he wouldn't accept that. They definitely want to go to trial.

While he is in they should make him watch every Auburn sporting event and to top it off rewatch the 2010 Auburn Bama game before bed every night

13 years for what he did is freaking ridiculous
Usually when a prosecuting attorney offers a plea he's either bluffing and trying to get a conviction because he's scared he won't get a sentence that the public agree's with or he needs to get some type of information from the defendant and we all know that there's no more information he can get from Updyke.Possible just scared Updyke will get basically a slap on the wrist compared to what the public or prosecutor wants.

I'll just add this here but apparently NTYF has started the boycotting process of the owner of the pizza place in Madison AL that made the Saban, Bear and Tebow pizzas.

Some people don't spend a day in prison for killing people.

He doesn't deserve more than a few months AT MOST with some of the people we let walk.
