what's the point of this? I could understand not allowing him on the auburn campus or the area, but what does UA sporting events have to do with anything he did?

Beaver - I understand your sentiment.

...but, it didn't - 13 years is overboard. Revel in the glory of ridiculing Alabama fans forever with the Updyke monikor.

I don't think anyone of us are tree experts, but if the fricking poison hasn't set in and went to work after a year, it isn't going to, it seems.

Give him 6 months with 3 years suspended, a bunch of community service and a public apology. Anything more than that is excessive.

Personally, I wish the bastard would be thrown in the same cell as the teabagger and Sandusky. And by the way, I hope he gets thirteen years.

Alahunter is on track with this, but my only concern in banning him from Alabama and Auburn games is that he starts showing up for LSU games

6 months suspended
1000 community service
banned from all Auburn AND Alabama games
3 yrs probation
restitution

So you can feed and shelter him?

Make him pay $180,000. If he gets Scam Newton to cover the charge and admit to cheating, each of them get $100,000,000 from the Alabama government. If he doesn't? Then a Harvey Updike statue goes where one Toomer's tree was, and a Bear statue on the other.

Each of them get double if he gets someone to come forward with proof of Nick Saban's eBay recruiting scam at LSU.

Triple it. No. 100 billion if they can produce a gay sex tape of Tim Tebow.

Your post is further proof that conference expansion was a bad idea.

Scene 1 Act 1

*SEC sitting alone at a booth in a empty diner*
*aTm walks through the door and sits down across the booth*

"Hey, SEC...why haven't you been answering my calls?"

*aTm reaches across table to touch SEC's hand, but SEC pulls away*

"It isn't going to work."

*SEC looks at aTm, then leaves the diner without looking back*

"Why, SEC? WHHHHYYYY?"

*aTm buries its head in its hand*

END SCENE

Harvey did not help himself over the last six months. His ploy at the gas station, his comments on the ESPN Documentary and the Finebaum Show, the Facebook site and his NO trip. There will not be a plea and they will get their pound of flesh from Harvey.

Sounds about right.

ban him from any UA event

Now THIS would be killer for this guy. Lifetime ban from Alabama events. Hit him where it hurts.
