I'm not a crazed nature lover and I think it was pretty fricked up. Most Bama fans I know feel the same way, I have family in TTown and often stay with them for games, so I have a little better understanding of it. The argument that it was "just trees" is idiotic

This is all i'm trying to say...apparently not very eloquently or perhaps because i'm an auburn fan the sentiment is lost.

You're also confusing the issue...you said they're just trees. But now you say they're important to auburn fans, so they're not just any trees.

I don't care if it's the Tree of Knowledge from the Garden of Eden. A tree is still a tree, regardless of its significance to the area. It's one of trillions that populate the earth.

You finally got something right.

A crazy 70+ year old man decided to keep the younger Au fans from experiencing a tradition of their team and their parents school.

I carefully watched the video and I am convinced that I was right in my belief that my statement was a fact.

Here's why:

quote:

Bottom line, rolling the trees in Toomer's Corner is arguably the dumbest tradition in college football

Notice my word use here. I used the word arguably. Which means that there is some debate, which makes my conclusion "the dumbest tradition in college football" neither true or false. Now I can show you why this statement is a fact because I am the one arguing it's the dumbest tradition in college football.

Whereas, according to Binky, I have shown you that there is debate, therefore making my statement a fact.

Now Lee Cty will get to foot his medical bills until trial.

Judge should just order him to do the following for punishment and then be the end of it:

Purchase himself...enough rolls of charmin to hand write...I'm sorry I poisoned your trees, Harvey...to every living au alumni and mail it to them. With one roll left for him to write a 500 line/ply report of why he did it, to be displayed in the Au toilet paper museum.

I disagree. I don't think its arguably the dumbest. I think its downright the best, hands down.

I would think that if they were just trees and such a small deal, you wouldnt have him in your pic. He obviously did something grand enough to get your admiration.

PPL who poison "just trees" dont typically get that stature, you have to do something to a venerable figure to be so loved.

I got this from the fark board a few months ago. I wanted to make Bane my avatar but I needed the image shrunk down to size. An Auburn fan actually farked it for me so you can blame your fanbase for putting it in my avatar.

I think we can blame you for keeping it as your avatar.
