Whaley also has taken the "UGA commit" off his twitter and told espn he is going to open things back up.

Old news. Eason's coach told AJC tonight that Eason is all Dawg unless we install a wishbone offense.

We will see. Not every coach is made to be a head coach. Ask Orgeron.

If you think Kirby needs Saban's help to do that at this point, you're crazy. I'm sure that's exactly what happens, but Kirby isn't dependent on Nick Saban for anything he does.

I could be wrong but I feel about Kirby the same as I did about Muschamp when he got the UF job. Both guys were unproven and I wasn't confident in their abilities to run a program especially when they've both ran another coach's defense. But, I will give Muschamp more props because he did leave Tuberville and Saban and ran a defense on his own at Texas. Smart hasn't done that.

Kirby always got the blame for Bama's inability to slow down the HUNH. Even blamed this year for the OM game.

Exactly. I think it was wise for those in power at LSU to not sip the kool-aid and hire an unproven coach. Either we'd hire Jimbo or leave that shite alone.

There is hope at LSU. We might beat Bama. We might beat Bama. We didn't beat Bama
