AU was the best team in the country in 1983 and most deserving. Most agree the AP and UPI got it wrong because they were ignorant.

You keep on giving credit to a lesser team for 1983, miami or nebraska, pick one it doesn't matter. You'll be taking the low integrity road because you are insecure or don't like AU or whatever. I will call it like it is and call the best team the champ. Simple as that.

Oh and the korin fool already knows if I link cfdw it is more comprehensive and will show more selectors choose AU than anyone else. 18 of them I believe. But he is a fool and I'm not dicking around with his young and dumb arse anymore.

Show me the undefeated category in the SEC & NCAA record books & what that got you... BS OOC scheduling & cheating account for 2 of those & I don't see a undefeated category in the record books, just SECC's & NC's...

AU using "undefeated" seasons as the reason you're better is the same as UGA claiming the last 14 years of H to H as why were =/=...

Let's just say AU has been in the conversation of the BCSNC three times in the last 15 years. Where does UGA fit in the conversation ?

1. Even Bammers should agree that y'all got screwed in 83. Such is life though.
2. The CFDW is one random guy's site with a ton of unverified information.

You make a good case that you may have gotten screwed, but that's life. Do you go back and say your team actually won a game when there was a bad call?

Someone being wrong doesn't change what they picked. You can cry unfair, but you can't change history.

No they haven't been in the discussion the same. Auburn has come closer to winning 4 or 5 national championships over the last 32 or 33 years than Georgis has come to even winning one during that time.

The Mutts don't even have a legitimate argument for even playing for a national title since Herschel left school

I wonder if Mark Richt would be willing to move to Offensive Coordinator for the Dawgs. He is obviously a good coach...just not a head coach.

As compared to you just ignoring the fact that your shite team doesn't even have a legit argument for even playing for a national championship since Herschel left school.

Miss St was talked about prior to the Ole Miss Game, after that you never heard about them again. That has been the history of UGA since Richt has been their. Even their two SEC Championships, their wasn't any buzz of them making the BCSCG.

You need to read the footnotes when you quote wikipedia .

And they finished with 3 losses and ranked outside the top 10. That's not quite like a one or two loss team finishing ranked in the top 5.

2002 was a rough year in that two teams were undefeated. If you remember that year at all we were in the conversation, it's not like we fell off the face of the planet like MSU did.

2007 we were right there at selection Sunday until we got passed over. We were in the discussion even after the SECCG.
