They were hotter than we were 2007 no doubt. LSU was limping with Flynn hurt. If Georgia played us in 2007 SECG they would have torched us. Just like we got red hot in 2006 if we Florida again we beat them in the SECG.

FWIW...I'm a Dawg fan who thinks LSU deserved the bid over us cause y'all won the SEC... It sucks we didn't get a chance at y'all in Atlanta but we screwed the pooch & LSU earned it. Right or wrong the SECC means something & trumps any other arguments in my eyes...

Hey it was UGA's fault for losing to the Vols in 2007. I'm just saying at the end of the season any college football fan with a brain saw LSU struggling and ya'll were on fire. We beat the Vols with a backup qb so yea ... we were better than ya'll!

Since Richt called the whole team out to celebrate a TD against the lizards UGA has been sabotaged by corrupt game officials who never forget and never forgive.
It's going to take an awesome team to overcome the obstacles Georgia faces but it's happening soon.

Eh not necessarily. Vol fans can tell you all about the backup curse that has plagued us for ages. The worst thing that could've happened to us was to play against a backup. But yeah, UGA shoulda taken care of business. Y'all did.

That 2007 season was so odd, not just SEC-related (UGA/LSU/UT/etc), but CFB as a whole

In 1980 my wife wasn't born yet and my brother's were in elementary school and one of my brother's already has a child attending college.

It takes one loss really to boost things. For the Gators, they were incredible after the OM loss at home.
The 06 LSU/07 UGA teams were very hot towards the end, no doubt.

There was no difference between 2002 Georgia and 2003 LSU, 2006 Florida, 2008 Florida, 2011 Alabama that those teams had control of, the others got help from around the country we didn't.

Richt seems to have a habit of bullshite like that. 2010 game against AU was a pitiful display by all of UGA. Coaches, players, etc. From the opening kickoff (personal foul) until the very last play of the game when UGA went all out while we were taking a mercy knee up big. Not to mention him encouraging his whole damn team to rush the field and try and start an all out brawl.

AU has had three undefeated teams since 1980 and two in the last 11 years. That is the difference in the two programs right now.

No son. AU has at least 3 since 1957. No rational person can dispute AU was the best in 1983.
