The best thing I remember about visiting Lubbock was I actually seen a tumbleweed roll across the road. It was like spotting some kind of wildlife.
"Hey! That was a fricking tumbleweed!".
Great memories.

It's not Lubbock's fault that TT's former HC doesn't understand geography, and had never seen the high plains of Texas before.

He is definitely exaggerating. No one "sent him" to Lubbock. He begged for the job on TV after even Kansas wouldn't hire him.

I go to Lubbock for their cotton gin show every year and really enjoy myself. 
Not as fun as the Memphis one but its nice out there.
