Love how this thread is a subtle troll attempt by the OP.

You can't have a legit list like this unless it includes the 1959 Ole Miss Rebels.

2004 Auburn would have kicked the shite out of Oklahoma.

Using common opponents, Auburn beat Tennessee by 2 touchdowns in the SEC Title Game. The same Tennessee crushed an A&M team that Oklahoma barely beat by over 4 touchdowns.

You're smarter than that.

In related news, the salt a$$ to mouth and mizzou fans have towards OU is deeply seeded. You guys charging rent for that head space they keep occupying?

A UGA team I haven't seen mentioned is the 1942 one (if you don't already consider them an NC team).
Heisman winner (Sinkwich) and Charley Trippi (later won Maxwell award and became #1 NFL pick)
Finished 11-1 and won the Rose Bowl. Beat a Bama team ranked 3 at the time and a GT team ranked 2 at the time.

2012 A&M was a miss FG from the national championship and playing like the best team in the country at the end of the season....ask OU.

Huh? You lost to UF and LSU and didn't even make the title game, much less win it.

Lost to UF because of a missed FG in Manziels first ever game. They win that game they go to the SECCG, not Bama, and would've smoked UGA.

Lots if woulda in your posts. It woulda been a good game but it didn't happen cause you choked at home vs LSU.

The 2004 Auburn team was really good. You just never get 3 undefeated teams at the end of the season like that. With the CFP at least that shouldn't happen again.

The 2004 USC team was ridiculous. I know their title was stripped but they were the best team IMO. I remember strength of schedule was a big factor.

2004 USC
PS/G 38.2 6th of 120
PA/G 13.0 3rd of 120
SOS 5th of 120

2004 OU
PS/G 34.8 14th of 120
PA/G 16.8 11th of 120
SOS 11th of 120

2004 Auburn
PS/G 32.1 18th of 120
PA/G 11.3 1st of 120
SOS 55th of 120

That Auburn team's OOC schedule was Louisiana-Monroe, The Citadel, and Louisiana Tech.

OU's OOC schedule included Bowling Green, Houston and Oregon. OU also beat ranked teams in the Big 12 which had 12 teams then. Scheduling is going to become increasingly important I think.

I think that OU team was deserving of a championship spot and even though the NCAA vacated USC's win and trophies etc., OU still counts the loss.

Auburn had Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, and Jason Campbell in the same backfield in 2004.

I actually think 2013 Alabama should be on that list. I think they would have beaten 2013 Auburn probably seven or eight times out of ten. They completely collapsed in the bowl game when their dreams of a third straight title were dashed with a second to play, but they destroyed every team they played before Auburn except Texas A&M.
