Absolutely royal screwjob that that team didn't win the national championship.

A very convincing argument can be made that it is one of the most egregious screwjobs in football history.

2001 Florida is better than all of those teams

2002 Georgia was great
2007 Georgia would have absolutely demolished LSU in the SECCG had Andre Woodson and Kentucky not shite the bed against Tennessee

2012 Georgia? Ehh. Teams that get beat by four touchdowns don't belong on these sorts of lists.

Wha???

8-2-1 regular season (losses to Auburn and LSU, tied Tenn).

Lost to Florida in the SECCG, and only played in it because Auburn couldn't.

Alabama very clearly beat themselves in all three of those games.

Miami beating Nebraska vaulted them from 5th to 1st.

1941 AlaBama: but, they claimed one anyway.

1945 Alabama deserved it more.

Why doesn't Bama just claim this like they do with about 5 other unearned titles?

Auburn 2004

Georgia 2003 was really good. If not for LSU they could have won a NC.

It was the only game that year that we were almost completely healthy.

I'll agree with others that 02 UGA and 2012 UGA have a case. 07 UGA has a case, albeit not as good of one. If this were a top 20 list there'd be so many damn UGA years on that list.
