Cowboys, Seahawks, and other teams have reminded the league that true feature backs are worth the money. Yeldon was the 3rd best RB and I'll be surprised if he isn't an every down guy for the jags in 2016

Eddie Lacy is slow and fat and played behind a great line. Will be a bust.

TJ Yeldon will quietly go down as one of the best running backs in Alabama history. He probably won't be spoken of as much as other greats because he lacks the iconic plays/performances, but his numbers speak enough. Had he come back for his senior year, he would have all but locked up every career rushing record in Alabama history.

Looks like you struggle with evaluating talent.

the Jags are an arena league football team even the Jets don't take them serious.

To be a current career record holder at a school now a days, means you started as a freshman and had two great years. Or you stayed all four years because you were never a great pro prospect. The record holders are no longer the best the school produces.

Solid pick, but I was surprised a Florida team took him over Duke.

Yeldon's vision is what makes this pick worth it. He is able to find the optimal running lane and completely avoid it every time.

Yeldon has the quickest feet of any RB I've ever seen. I hope he stays healthy in the NFL, and if so, he's a star...

Yeldon is a 3rd down back who just got drafted by one of the worst teams in the NFL. Everybody keep their panties on.

True. Glad a Gump said it first.

Yeldon better start running a little lower or he is going to get his block knocked off.

The point is with the 14-15 game seasons, if you start as a freshman the chances of being the record holder if stay 4 years, is very good. It doesn't mean you are the best in the programs history.

Well...you were partially correct. He did have two great years but he never started as a freshman. He was Eddie Lacy's back-up in his freshman year.

Yeldon has vision. He will be better in the NFL than Ingram
