Yeldon and Alfred Blue look like they could be the same guy. And Blue tore it up in Houston last year. So good pick. He's a sneaky quick glider.

Yeldon was injured much of his sophomore and junior seasons,

This is what I would be more concerned about long term. He will do fine I believe and he adds the added dimensions of being a good pass receiver out of the backfield and runs well in traffic...

...pardon me while I go rinse my mouth out now!

He fights so hard to not go down, sometimes I think its to his detriment.

Eddie Lacy is one of the best backs in the league, AND is a receiving threat, and he isn't exactly a burner.

Lacy ran a 4.44 at the combine and is a much more powerful back in general. His physical traits are outstanding for a running back. Yeldon is pretty big at 220 lbs but he isn't a physical runner at all for a 220 lb back. He has quick feet and his cuts are outstanding but I don't see anything that makes me believe he'll be anything more than another dime a dozen running back in the NFL.

Yeldon is a special all-around back and anyone who can't see it is a dope who doesn't know shite about football.

His quick feet and ability to make cuts in high traffic areas make him an ideal RB for the next level. He does lack power for a 220 lb back and home run, break away speed. He'll be a solid every down back.
