re: How long is Paul Skenes arm going to hold up?
Posted by JJ27 on 4/19/24 at 10:45 am
Based on the fact that pitchers throw every pitch at max effort, w/as much velo as possible, which puts undue strain on the elbow/arm.
Have you watched Skenes? I know you’re not an LSU fan, so genuinely asking. Because he throws effortlessly. He doesn’t throw max effort at all. ...
But on top of that, this doesn't feel realistic at all. Players leaving for a year to start only to come back and retain their spot on the depth chart and move into a starter role? C'mon dude.
Didn't Raph Rhymes do this in baseball?...
Then why does WM continue to not vote for reunification in both football and baseball?
New principal and new HC. I wouldn’t be surprised if that vote changes. Just a whole new regime really. ...

All the schools listed but 2-3 are already select. Of course they want it back together. WM came to Catholic for a 3 game series to start the year. There is no fear there. The HC and pitching coach are former college HCs. ...
anyone here have any information on Warren Easton? Not looking for specific scouting reports or anything like that, just any general information on what type of team they have, what to look for, etc... I am not familiar. Also, anyone know where they will play their "host"/home playoff game...

Do they have 2 dudes on the mound? They’ll have to beat WM and Barbe in 2 days to win. They’re capable of it, but if they hold their ace for Barbe, WM might cut them. If they use him on WM, same might happen against Barbe. Barbe will likely be able to save their guy for the finals. ...
An argument could be made that Nonselect D1 should be 32 teams. There are years where the team that is 29-30 is still pretty solid.
Ehhh I'd go with 28. The top 4 deserve a bye. Top 8 getting a bye is too much imo. It's still a 32 team bracket, just 8 byes so 24 make it. It would...

If you're going to have Divisions there is ZERO REASON to have classes. PERIOD. Consolidate the 5 classes to 4 since you have 4 Divisions. This really isn't that difficult. ...

1. Dutchtown
2. Denham Springs
3. St. Amant
4. Bonnabel
5. St. Joseph's Academy
Not trying to hate, but have those schools won a title in baseball? St. Amant feels like they have ma...
Neville still playing in 4A district but put in 5A playoffs. That makes so much sense LHSAA.
At least they’re replacing another 4A team in the playoffs. It would suck to play 5A, make the playoffs, and be replaced because a 4A team won a joke of a district. ...
