So one incident that isn't even confirmed to be true should outweigh all the good he has done for his former and current players and the community around him?
You don't make an elite eight (which he did at Kansas State) if there isn't a mutual respect between players and coaches.
Even if we assume this is all true, that was 5 years ago. Other than one incident at South Carolina he's been perfectly fine and his players love him. Even the guy he had an incident with (Carrera) loves him. He's said so even recently.

you can say it's not confirmed, but it's common knowledge that half his scholly players were about to leave. He has been suspended at SC for cussing at his own players. It's well known he's a fiery arse coach.
I didn't say there wasn't mutual respect. I just said I don't think he cared about a player that he drops F bombs at and calls an embarrassment in front of the entire team, in a huddle.
good for him and yall. I'm just saying if my son is good enough to play D1 ball, I'd prefer it be for a coach who has more control of his emotions.

Until you quit sneaking up on goats from behind, the scenario about your son is somewhat unlikely

Mizzou people must be so jelly that a nobody made the final 4 before their historic basketball program. Cuonzo must be do much better than Frank that they didn't even interview him for that prestigious position

If any Mizzou fans want to know what it's like to have your team at the Final Four I'm going to do a Q&A tomorrow at noon and another one next week.
So don't be afraid to ask, their are no dumb questions and yes, even beer taste better now.

He's a great coach but it's too hard to get elite talent to USCjr. He's brought South Carolina up to the top of the SEC this year without a ton of competition. But the rest of the SEC is catching up with coaching hires, and those other coaches seem to be bringing in much better talent. Starting next year you'll see South Carolina start to slide back to the middle of the SEC. If he wants to compete at the highest level consistently in the SEC then he'll need to go somewhere he can build something like Mizzou
IYO, what would you consider competing at the highest level? Does the Final 4 count?
