You just hate facts. That is all. You prefer rumor and innuendo. FACT Alabama was PROVEN to have paid money for a recruit. You know that to be true, so when you can not attack the message, you attack the messenger.

All we know about Auburn is that MSU discussed money. I say it again HYPOCRITE. FACT Auburns last football probation was over 20 years ago and did NOT involve a recruit.

...and right here you stopped talking about FACTS.

We know that the father of your best player was shopping him. We KNOW this. So you can believe that Cam suddenly and inexplicably decided to attend auburn at the last minute, or you can believe that auburn met Cecil's price and didn't get caught.

Believe what you wish, but don't confuse your bitter opinion with fact.

Might want to use your own advice with this implied contradiction.

My most favorite quote ever:

quote:

Alabama accusing Auburn of cheating is like Snooki telling Halle Berry she's ugly.
- Charles Barkley

It's true. Of course, it could go either way.

Facts like..

quote:

According to documents released Tuesday, the NCAA in responding to Alabama's textbook appeal called Alabama a "serial repeat violator" with an "abysmal infractions track record" and an "extensive recent history of infractions cases unmatched by any other member institution in the NCAA."

This just belies your ignorance. You need to pay more attention before speaking out of turn in all honesty. I have said many a time I do not think AU is a clean program either. I said I believed the HBO group probably got paid. I said it was likely Cam did as well back in late 2010, however now I am not sure since we were investigated so long and hard.

Fact is you need to pay more attention or keep quiet and speak out of turn less.

And the "hate bama more than love AU" is comical, but if you are that desperate to hang your hat on something and that is all you can muster, have at it. No skin off my back and you blind defending of bama and claiming they run a clean program tells me you are just a sheep with little to offer in this conversation.

We only know that Kenny Rogers a former MSU player and MSU discussed money. There was no evidence that Cecil shopped Cam. There was no evidence that he was shopped to UT, Oklahoma or Auburn. Again, you prefer rumor and innuendo.

If what you said was fact, we would have been thrown under the bus.

It is an absolute fact that in 1999 (nearly 15 years ago) an Alabama booster (who never attended the university) got in bed in a bidding war for a recruit. It is an absolute fact that multiple schools were in said bidding war and only Bama was placed on probation, which Bama absolutely deserved. It is not a fact that "Bama" (i.e. Bama's coaches) paid for a player. They likely had knowledge, but "Bama" did not pay for the player. That was four Bama staffs ago. Old news.

It is also an absolute fact that AU coaches paid players under the Pat Dye regime. AU was also placed on probation. Deservedly so. That was four AU coaching staffs ago. Old news.

I don't hide from the facts. Bama has had problems. That's a fact. Any current allegation of similar problems is not backed up with facts.

I'm a very level headed poster. I just don't like you, probably be side you aren't. I love my team and do not hate your team. You love your team and absolutely hate your rival.

LINK

"The NCAA and Auburn found Cecil Newton and Rogers first discussed asking representatives of Mississippi State for "a substantial cash payment" around the time of his official visit from Nov. 27-29, 2009. Rogers was also on campus during the visit and, NCAA documents say, he and Cecil Newton met with two Bulldogs assistants in a hotel lobby and discussed payment. The two coaches denied to the NCAA that such inducements were discussed."

You want to go down this road, we go to Gene Jelks and several other bama players who received MORE than Ramsey did including signing bonuses and either a car or a car loan. This will cover more than one coaching staff as well. Then we can go down the road regarding what Gene Stallings knew about it, which was not insignificant.

All that will result in is the FACTS will show bama/bama boosters were PROVEN to have paid more for a few players than AU did with Ramsey.

Alabama has paid players, auburn has paid players. I don't think I'm interested in pulling stuff out of your arse while you attempt to claim auburn is lilly-white.

Umm, ok? Did anyone every say Cecil did not ask for money from MSU?

You sorta fail at trying to prove whatever point you were after it would appear.
