ETA: and I certainly don't believe players are receiving anything more than general special treatment and $100 handshakes (possibly accumulating to about $5,000 a year). There's nowhere near that kind of money being made

Way wrong IMO. Bama gave Dee Hart's HS $100k plus in renovations. Foley got an indoor practice facility, new field house and their locker room is like a college now. This all happened in 2008-2009 when Julio and Fluker were there. Cyrus K's HS got $500k. Albert Means going rate was $200k when bama got busted. Cecil shopped Cam for $180k. These are all facts.

That $600k is exagerated by the father I feel certain, but $300k would not surprise me.

Big time programs cheat in big time ways. Just the way it is. Hell Shapiro was spending hundreds of thousands jock sniffing and trying to get recruits to Miami. Miami people still think PP7 got over $200k to go to LSU. Trent may have gotten a new house for his 14 kids and he got 3 new rides while at bama.

The list goes on IMO.

Asswipe, just because your ignorant arse is not aware of all the HS stuff I posted does not mean it is not true. Google it and educate yourself. All that is fact and you can find newspaper articles about all of it that no one denies (cept maybe people like you).

What exactly are you basing those grossly inflated numbers on? Be specific

Cyrus K's high school got half a million dollars? I'm sure this money changed hands in the 3 days between his commitment to auburn and signing with Alabama.

Auburn is fricking pathetic and you're fricking pathetic.

You too?

Damn you gumps are really unaware of a lot of things.

Do you guys really want me to post articles about large inflows of money to the high schools noted when bama was recruiting high profile players?

Call it a coincidence if you like but what I stated in regards to the high schools is 100% factually accurate.

I used $100k for Hart's high school. That was widely reported. Educate yourself or do not speak.

I used $500k for the donation to Cyrus's HS in the Feb his brother signed when bama was recruiting Cyrus heavily as well. It is a fact. Again educate yourself.

You did not realize all the upgrades and the indoor facility Foley got funding for in 2008-2009? Damn son, how clueless are you?

And Cecil asking for $180k????? Really, never knew that either?

Well, first of all, you've pointed out high profile high schools getting money for renovations. that's not out of the ordinary. you've failed to tie any of the dollars for said renovations to anyone associated with Bama.

Secondly, you pointed to Dee Hart's HS getting money. Bama was ASSIGNED that school as a practice location for the 2011 Capital One Bowl. Just as Bama had done in Pasadena, CA the year before, they paid to have the facility they used cared for and brought up to par afterward. Bama got no kid from Pasadena after that, but I guess they were buying someone, huh?

What about AU? I like most of the AU guys on here, but at least they'll admit they have some dirt. You've not mentioned any of AU's dirt, and some of yours is actually real - unlike the HS stuff you mentioned about Bama (not saying Bama doesn't have dirt, but you've missed on all of it).

Laws and college recruiting are like sausages, it is better not to see them being made.

Show me where I explicitly claimed that.

Just because your arse can't read and interpret a simple post correctly is no reason to blame me for your shortcomings.

I stated facts. You read into them that bama must have paid those high schools.

You think any of these people NOT associated with Bama, but very associated with De Matha HS might have made that anonymous donation perhaps?

Of course not. Believe or draw whatever conclusions you like.

Thank you for confirming. Your fellow gump (who is too ignorant to use google correctly) thanks you as well.

Yes we do. Not denying that and even mentioned Cecil soliciting, to which you can draw whatever conclusion you like.

No, I just choose to state facts regarding the high schools and people can draw their own conclusions. I personally think HSs and HS coaches along with the street agents are the primary choice conduit these days for recruits.
