And there's really no way an above-average guy is gonna get that much. I don't think any players get that much.

Cheating exists everywhere in CFB, but the athletic departments have learned to take it off campus while they play the denial game. This story sounds like bullshite

ETA: and I certainly don't believe players are receiving anything more than general special treatment and $100 handshakes (possibly accumulating to about $5,000 a year). There's nowhere near that kind of money being made

They would have to be ungodly in HS to get $600 let alone a million dollars. I don't see any SEC school that desperate. They are just trying to create a story but where no one gets in trouble. Especially with all the drama surrounding A&M and JFF people will buy in. They certainly won't say anything to get Jones or A&M in trouble or his family wouldn't be talking to anyone.

What a terrible attitude you have. It's much healthier to hate any and all schools accused of "illegal" activity, punning the names of the players involved, and preaching the pristine perfection of your school.

The guy is not even listed on A&M's depth chart. Daddy is just trying to get some pub.

7 on 7 should be renamed kids for sale as everyone knows that is what it is really about. Even the NCAA. Expect that shite to be banned under new Super Conference system. Is is just a way for tag alongs to get paid.

We don't need street agents showing us where all the great players are. Plus everyone knows going rate is about 200k for a solid four state or about 50k per star. (Is that about right Auburn? You guys are the experts on this shite.)

Yep, what a scrub RSJ is. No potential to be a marquee player.

Some of the folks in this thread would be pretty shocked with what actually goes on. I'll guarantee you that every school represented on here has at least a few players who have a "deal." A highly recruited guy is getting at least $2500-$5000 per month while they are in college.

This guy will probably break the SEC record for receiving yards by a freshman... but okay.

No, but I'm guessing other schools can come up with more $ than Miss. St.
