In TnMLand, a fraudulent preacher shops his son for 180 grand but the son suddenly chooses auburn because of family and it just felt like the right place.

But when a player goes to Bama where his brother plays, it's because someone sent money to his high school.

Um, yeah.

Or maybe all this has done is proven two things:

1. You were wrong about all of the HS cash infusions you were dumb enough to challenge me on. I would commend you for trying to talk about lil bros, paranoia and so forth, but that would sorta be like commending a cat turd for smelling bad. Sorta what one expects.

2. Google is beyond your grasp, which sorta sucks I suppose.

timing of the donation, the initial commitment

How do you keep missing this? His initial commitment was to AU. He was NEVER committed to Bama until a few days AFTER signing day.

quote:

the way his HS coaches held off on faxing in the LOI to AU and asked him to reconsider

Had zero to do with his HS coaches. His family was AT the school at the time and they were stunned bc he had given them indication he wld go play with his brother so they cld attend both of their sons games in one school.

Parents have to sign the LOI. It was his parents who didn't allow him to sign and fax back, not his HS coaches. Also, look at HIS quotes. He said he wasn't sure why he said AU and that it felt weird and he was still unsure. I'm sure you'll say his parents "made him" go to Bama due to some other conspiracy. Not like Cecil deciding on AU for Cam tho.

What's funny is that you were dumb enough to imply that these large donations came from bama (you believe this with every fiber or your being) and failed to prove it because no proof exists. Maybe if you dig a little on google you can pull something up though, you are the master.

I expect nothing less from a paranoid little brother like yourself though. The worst on this site and that says a lot. How does that feel?

I think my original point was all big time programs cheat and I used some well documented cases of high schools with high profile players recently getting large cash infusions as a suggestion of a way it may have been done recently. And bama is the program that was busted for trying to get $200k through the high school coaches for a player, so their is some specific precedent there as well.

Maybe you missed the Cam affair, but since Scam Newtons dad did his little thing, the NCAA updated their by-laws to make an offer a violation.

I bet Auburn is the school he's speaking of.

So, let's look at this realistically... There were three teams, aside from Texas A&M, that offered Ricky Seals-Jones. Of the three, two of them were recently placed on probation while the other has been proven clean time after time.

1) Auburn got a colonoscopy from the NCAA during the whole Cam Newton fiasco, and they found absolutely nothing wrong with the recruiting tactics. The NCAA investigated Auburn, again, for the whole Jovon Robinson and Trovon Reed fiascos, and found nothing again.

2) LSU was just placed on probation in 2011 for improperly arranging for transportation and housing for former defensive lineman Akiem Hicks in 2009 before later trying to cover up those actions.

3) And Mississippi State was just placed on probation in 2013 for a booster assisting a player in securing a car, providing cash to a recruit on multiple locations and telling the recruit if he did not take a visit to another school, he would be paid $6,000.

Over a decade ago. Enthralling argument.

Allegations against Alabama were your original point, not hypothetical it could have been done this ways. You're just paranoid and everyone that's been here for longer than a few months knows it

To the original topic, I think his dad is full of it and wants attention. If he had been legitimately offered 600k then it would be by the school that his son is playing for.

TigerinMiami & allin2010 - two of AU's worst posters. Conspiracy theorists about all things Bama. Hate Bama more than they love AU. Believe AU is above the fray and, in the case of allin2010, plays insider status only to be proven anything but an insider by the ridiculousness of some of his statements

TTsTowel - one of AU's better posters. Gets involved in the rivalry from time to time, but does so without a tin foil hat on. He's a realist. He gets that all programs - including his - have dirt, so he doesn't spend much time entertaining the mud slinging. Loves AU more than he hates Bama. A good poster

If you remember these facts when you see these three posters you'll be better served for it.

Ricky Seals Jones and his family are trash. They are just trying to get attention.

If they would have actually been offered 600,000$ they would have accepted and thrown the biggest crack party ever.
