The list above are not recognized stats, they are accomplishments. The sec only recognizes certain "real" stats. Most rushing yards by a freshman qb.. Lol, that's reaching. First of all he was redshirted. Secondly , how many QBs Rush as a freshman. The list keeps on going . Like I said 1 real record. Total yds for a season, all Americans and trophies are awards not records.

Anyone who thinks he was better than the following is just a homer...
Cam, Tebow, Wuerfful, Manning (all 3), the list goes on.
I'll give you best qb at TexAm since 2012 but that's it.

He led the sec in rushing in 2012 and has the 1st/2nd sec single season yardage records and 1st/2nd/3rd sec single game yardage records. Are those recognized? lol at throwing out accomplishments because they don't fit your box for "real" stats. Right fricking convenient that is.

First the rushing total for 2012 is just a stat , not a record. It's 25th all time in the sec.
Second you don't get records for 2nd and 3rd place even if you do hold the record. They are just stats.
Finally I'll give you credit for the 567 yds , against La Tech at LA tech ( the hell ) winning 59-57??? It only took Mke Evans catching 4 for 137 , one which was 75 yds to break the record.
It's simple JM doesn't belong on the Mt Rushmore of the SEC. And everyone knows it.

It wasn't an all-time rushing performance, but it was pretty remarkable considering he was also at or near the top in all passing categories.

You've got me there, I guess. If you throw out his record setting performance of 576 yards (because let's face it, there was a long touchdown pass included in those stats) and then also his 2nd and 3rd best single game performances (for no real reason other than you said so...but, whatever), he doesn't hold the single-game yardage record.
I'm not saying he was the GOAT, but he has as much claim to being in the discussion as anyone.
I'm sort of embarrassed to have argued with your herp derp bullshite for this long, so you'll have to forgive me if I don't respond to your discrediting his heisman, POY-type awards, or whatever the hell it is you'll come up with next.

As you SEC guys are growing to learn, any fan poll that involves A&M is immediately suspect as their fan base makes a habit of "voring" their team/ players way past the point of reality. Aggie nation spreads the word on all of their fan sites and attempts to overwhelm the poll with their votes.
This is equal parts hilarious and revealing: because they have nothing to ever show on the field, all of their self worth comes from "winning" meaningless fan polls.
