Obviously the readers of the Tennessean are retarded. Cam, Bo, Herschel should be 1-2-3 in some order (different debate) with probably Tebow and Peyton rounding out top 5. But JFF....

JFFs legacy will be choking on his own vomit. I'll let you decide which is worse

With no insult intended to JFF I don't think he cracks the top 4 all time in the SEC. As we saw when he made it to the NFL a lot of his success was due to the system and getting bailed out by tremendous WR play.
This begs the question: who benefitted more from the relationship--Sumlin or Manziel?
Both failed without the other, but not after making a lot of money based on the success they had together.

When a poll uses the word "ever", you have to take into consideration all the players who ever played in the SEC. Bama i am sure has at least 4 who qualify, from both sides of the ball. The gators' Matthew & Wuerfill both won more games & titles and were All Americans. Check out Spurrier's stats. LSU has at least 3 who should be considered & those 3 all played both ways, were All Americans, one won the Heisman & the other came in second by 4 votes. The other was first team All American for 3 yrs. Ms.State had a QB named John Bond & he gave the league fits for 3 yrs. Noting the use of the word "exciting": is that the criteria being used to make him the best of all times? Harvin in the Swamp scared me to death. UT had a QB named Peyton that was pretty good. You want exciting, watch the game tapes of Archie's games. JFF never lost less than 3 games & in his big year, there were 4 first round draft choices lined up next to him.
