I'm surprised the DFW number isn't higher for Arkansas. There is a lot of back and forth between NWA and DFW. It seems like every other person here either spent time in DFW in their careers or lived there at some point. DFW is the big out of state metro with the largest pull on Arkansas as a whole.
Having a booming local economy probably keeps more ex-students in the Fayetteville metro than the average school. The business school pretty much has a funnel into the local Fortune 500s entry-level jobs. Kids who go to college here often like staying if they can.
