Derek Mason is 2-2 vs Butch Jones let's not pretend like he owns VOLS. They were beaten to a pulp last year in Neyland, don't exaggerate it like they have been dominant.
Okay, fine. It won't be 5 of 7. It will be 4 of 7 for Vandy. Does that make you feel better? One team looks to be trending upwards while the other is in a massive mess.

The comments on UT's 247 site are pretty awesome

Mason is 1-2 vs Jones. Franklin beat him in 2013.

It's pretty easy to trend upwards when you were coming off of a 4 win season. Forgive me if I am not buying stock in the 2017 Dores after they lose the best player to ever lace up for them, and possibly the schools best RB of all time.

ya, lets call it a toss up

Leave the vols alone, they are the youngest team in the country and have the most injuries yet still champions of life. That's pretty salty.

Your own post is Exhibit A as to the steaming pile of dogshit that your program has become...and I emphasize this...relevant to fans' expectations. You're reduced to debating with a Vanderbilt fan who has the better program right now. Just take a moment or two and rub a couple of brain cells together and think about that.

Seriously? I learned that shite in high school

you're an awful boarder and I'm not sure why you keep replying to me like you have something of value to say lol. He claimed Vandy was trending upwards and assumed that trend would continue, I disagreed.
A gump trying to lecture anyone about brain cells is pretty funny though.

Is Ralph Webb leaving part of your daily prayers? We've got RBs to fill in for Webb with the passing attack picking up the slack there. Thanks for letting Kyle Shurmur really show his improvement by the way. He had never thrown for 300 yards before playing UT this year. He still hasn't. Shurmur skipped straight to 400 yards passing against you guys.
Losing Zach Cunningham is absolutely a huge blow, but we have enough young talent at other spots to hopefully not need 1 LB to carry as much of the load as Zach did.
As for trends, you better be careful. Vandy has gone from 3-9 (noncompetitive) to 4-8 (competitive) to 6-6 (scared everyone we played except GT and Missouri, go figure). Meanwhile, UT has had the same record the last two years and were much less competitive against good teams they played while scraping by some less than stellar competition. You are right that it's easy to trend up when you're bad, but it has been about way more than just an improvement in the record. You're a good enough poster that you can understand nuance.
