There were many Alabama fans on the internet and on radio saying that McCarron should win the Heisman. Character and all, etc. not going to spend the time to research..

There were just as many non-Bama fans who said he was above average, but not great.

I think Coker is above average, not great, but none of us have anything tangible to evaluate. If I was a Bama fan I would be more concerned with Lane Kiffen and his abilities to utlized Coker.

Amazing how many dim bulbs there are on here who think Coker is ungood, when it's pretty well known that he was in a battle for the starting job at FSU with last year's Heisman winner and the QB of last season's Natty.

I mean, do you really think a guy embroiled in a QB battle at FSU, the NC winner and transferring to the most dominant team of the last 7 years is only mediocre at best?

If so, then y'all are a bunch of DA's.

Just for you and the rest of our Auburn friends, here is a note on Rashann Evans from the same site.

Rashaan Evans: word is has the work ethic and hunger of a walk-on; bench-pressed his current body weight (6’4 225) 25 TIMES…to put in perspective, former DL Jesse Williams, two-time National Champion and Super Bowl winner with the Seahawks, bench pressed 225 27 times at the NFL combine. He also clocked a 4.5 40 during workouts…LAWD! Should be an impact player on third downs at the very least. His signing will prove HUGE…great credit to Kirby Smart, Nick Saban and the entire UA staff. Just a MASSIVE pick-up for the Crimson Tide.

I'm sure he is a talented player, but the coaches have yet to work with him. They can't even watch the 7 on 7's during this time.

Yeah, there is NO WAY this could go bad...
Look at our QB's we had at spring.

I hope Coker is good maybe great, but it isn't a damn certain fact he will be. Get for real.

I agree with you, but not one sane Bama fan said AJ was better than Cam Newton.

AJ deserved to be at the Heisman and deserved his runner up status. He was not better than Cam.

Beast, he went to Bama, but he is a better fit there, will he be blocking for Coker? Catching his passes? Not sure why you need that in this thread? Deflection maybe?

The Jordan Jefferson stuff his junior and senior offseason years. The Mettsiah thing when he came to LSU.

He might be thinking of GMac.

'bama fan "superman" and a small contingent believed GMac would have a better NFL career than Newton. You should read some of his 2011 pre-season threads. Hilarious.

Time to bring some sanity to this place. Alabama's QB 's are a work in progress,we will all have to wait and see how it goes and will know more after the first couple of games.

LSU's QB's are the same.

Alabama's WR's have a mix of experience and potential and have a chance to be very very good.

Duke Williams has potential, but like Alabama's QB 's we will have to see him do something in a game.

Leonard Fournette has not even worn an LSU uniform in action yet and is a true freshman. He might have a lot of ability but yet again he is unproven.

End of discussion.

All LSU, all the time. No one is comparing the LSU QB situation.
