Fournette no more deserves to be in the Top 10 SEC RB ranks than Coker does in the Heisman race.
See,THIS is what I was talking about earlier. This kid could turn out to be the next Herschel for all we know but he hasn't done ANYTHING yet. So since Coker hasn't done anything at Alabama,well he is going to suck but Fournette now,that is DIFFERENT.
He still has to learn the playbook,how to pick up blitzes and adjust to the speed of the game. Maybe he does just that and excels, but you are talking solely about potential and this is no different than the Coker advocates.

sunshine pumpers are going in full force already. What's next? A source gonna say "if" Coker can win all our games next year we'll be undefeated and win the NC?
From what I've actually seen of him in live game action he better improve a whole hell of a lot before the first game and especially the first SEC game or the season will not go as hoped. Which for me is a legitimate shot at the SEC and NC. We have the talent everywhere else on the roster but QB is huge liability at this point.
Also, please stop all of these Coker is gonna be the GOAT per a source type threads, Bama fans.

Buga has been brought up again and again by Corndogs,he has been brought up in this very string by an LSU fan.
The point I am making is they will hold Coker to one standard but the same standard doesn't apply to their team.

Yes an upgrade.
AJ did very well for them and obviously was very successful, but Coker has the advantage in every category. Decision making is the only thing we'll have to wait and see on, but I'm optimistic he'll do just fine. With all the weapons Bama possesses, it will be hard for him not to succeed.

Being listed in the top-10 SEC RBs as a true freshman and top recruit is nothing like being listed in a pre-season heisman list without taking a snap at a school
I mean cmon, the SEC has at best 2-3 good RBs per year. Being in the top-10 is not even a compliment.
