Im assuming your trying to compare Mauk to Hill which also isnt even close.
Holy crap, it didn't take you long to get with me. Good job.
Now, using your best thought out words, tell me why these two are completely incomparable in regards to what I have stated.

Are you thread bumping or do you have a point? You want to play the game? Arrests are a stone/glass house situation.
Please, for your credibility of the board, form an argument.

Are you trying to say that Aggie QBs who get arrested in Northgate, have a mugshot taken, and are then suspended are unlikely to perform at a high level? Because I'm not sure history is on your side...

You both lose. They're both thugs. But then again who isn't these days.
quote:
In late August, 2013 Mauk was arrested on suspicion of four traffic-related offenses. According to University of Missouri campus police Mauk struck two parked vehicles while riding his motor scooter in the early morning hours of August 29th. He and two female passengers fled the scene, refused to pull over for authorities, and ran a stop sign. Later that morning he turned himself into the police and was charged with four misdemeanors, among them leaving the scene of an accident and operating a motor vehicle in a reckless manner. He was arrested and taken to the Boone County Jail but released after posting $1,000 bond.

I'd take that review with a grain of salt. The other "college-ready" guy in that article got hurt in his first taste of live college action... and that was against his own team...
Injuries happen. But that has no bearing on a player's ability to perform. Not until he actually gets injured. Since Allen has no history of injuries so far, I see no reason to assume he'll be at any greater risk of injury than the average QB.

Hey now! Johnny may be a tPOS, but Kenny just wanted to take a nap.
What kind of police state is it that we live in when a man can't catch a few Zs?

Getting drunk and passing out is now considered "thug'ish"?
Just exactly what town in East Texas do you live in? My god you are dumb.

Swaggit, you're so fun to mess with. You take this stuff too seriously. The fact is, if Allen doesn't start, he'll probably transfer. And vice versa. Both Hill and Allen are great QBs. Unproven, yes. But they both have great potential. I like Allen better. Mauk is a proven winner in the SEC and many wanted him to start after Franklin came back. So there really is nothing to argue except that Mauk is proven.
Aggies, chill. Don't take it so seriously.

Hill has not been in an SEC game that mattered, we'll start there

Dude, you started getting personal with age attacks and silly other things. You might look into holding off next time on subjects before you jump off the bridge with them, before you want to play the "chill out, its you not me" line...
Regarding Allen and transferring, why do you think Allen would throw away the chance to play on a team that will more than likely get him drafted, than not? Are you implying he is scared, entitled, or what? I had no idea you knew the kid. Not sure what brought on this remark, honestly, and how do you know he came here expecting to start from day one? I think I can find some literature that is classic "recruit talk" about wanting to come in and compete for the spot, but admitting that he will need to polish up before he can.

quote:I believe he did. The #1 QB in the country expects to start from day one. Especially when a team loses a Heisman winner. Just my opinion. Sims transferred from Bama. Kiel transferred from ND. Heaps transferred from BYU. It happens all the time. He expects to start, I promise. If he loses the job to a sophomore, he'll transfer. IMO

And this is where you would be misguided. In his "Discussion of his commitment to Texas A&M" that was an interview by the site that shall not be named, he stated, and I quote:
"If I need to play right when I get to College Station, I will be ready. If not, I will continue to be ready".
That doesn't seem like a kid that is going to quit a decision. And, it is my personal opine that he does want to try and get a degree from a University, considering he has the smarts, and some of the academic stuff I have seen him quoted on.
If that isn't enough to make you even a semi-believer, let me fill you in on one more thing.. Kyle Allen committed to Texas A&M on 6/13/2013... months before our season even began... and we had just had the youngest Heisman winner in history, returning for his 2nd season of a possible 4. You think Kyle new Johnny was for sure going after this next season?
Especially with all the talk from you guys about getting film on Johnny and how he will get crushed this last year, there should have been no real bets made on him staying or going at the time of Kyles Commitment.
Maybe you should think about some things before you just blab about them?
Don't take it too seriously

quote:LSU destroyed Manziel, both years.
Especially with all the talk from you guys about getting film on Johnny and how he will get crushed this last year
Nice effort.

Give it up.
You're not going to convince anyone here of anything.
They've made up their minds, gosh-darn it

What's funny is I even said both of the aTm QBs were great. I don't know what this guy's deal is. #antidepressant
