Steeles defense got worse every year was at Clemson, wasn't just one game.

Was this before or after he mentally broke down and went back to Bama?

It's a known fact that Steele has had multiple ANXIETY INDUCED MENTAL BREAKDOWNS DURING GAMES.

Good luck

That's my only concern with him. He has to be mentally prepared for the SEC. I think Les is the perfect coach for him. Les is goofy and doesn't put a ton of pressure on his assistants. He lets them coach. I think having O on staff is going to go a long way in that regard.

How many of those guys were top recruits, or have done anything in the nfl? None of them? Hmmm was it great coaching from sumlins tree, or terrible coaching from Steele?

They've had 11 players drafted off that team, so.......

Bruce Irvin
Geno Smith
Tavon Austin
Stedman Bailey
Charles Sims

Yeah, that team was just chock full of scrubs.

Why the frick would we have hired Steele as a DB coach..? He hasn't coached DBs since the 80s

Even if we did hire him to coach our DBs, top Texas talent would still run to BR

You keep saying this like it matters. You do know Steele coaches LBs and not DBs, correct?

They did a great job with that team, they were good, no argument. A wonderful job by sumlins former assistant to identify talent.

They were not elite athletes though, none of those guys are tearing up the NFL.

n, and if you say different you're a liar and I feel sorry for you.

Does this make you feel better, perception is never reality.

Reality currently is that Steele and O are owning yalls arse on the recruiting trail and in doing so minimizing their needs to be mentally stable.

This is your argument to their success in college? That's sad.

His returning Heisman winner and 2 other first rounders proceeded to go 9-4. He's all over the place.

They still think chavis is a defensive mastermind because his gameplan was to not rush him and make him throw the football......genius I tell ya. Oh and make him roll to his left.

It's literally going to be comical watching LSUs O-line abuse Aggy again. No chance we're held under 300 Yds rushing. Leonard will be done before the start of the 4th and we'll get to watch a freshman have their career high against A&M..again.
