Mizz should not join the SEC ever. They are yankees and outsiders and that will not work.

If you want A&M and the Texas TV markets which will mean a massive jump in TV revenue, Mizzou is essential.

The politicians in the state of Texas will never allow Texas or A&M to blow up the Big 12. Tech & Baylor, as hard as it may be to believe, have too much political stroke to be abandoned. So, it needs to be a non-Texas Big 12 school that leaves first. The SEC isn't getting OU without Okie State but Mizzou can fly solo.

Even if Mizzou announces they are leaving, there will be a lot of state politicians who will want Texas and A&M to say in the Big 12 so that Tech and Baylor can have a permanent BCS home. They will want UofH or some other school added in their place. It will be a massive political fight for A&M to get to the SEC. Nothing is impossible but the aggies leaving is pretty damn close.

Yeah, well tell that to them. They think they actually have a shot at joining. The SEC will not do anything until Texas goes independent.

When that happens, moves will be made.
