I think move AU and AL east, and either TN or Vandy west.

It warms my heart to see the hog hate. We can finally ditch the tortilla tossing tech fans and go back to real rivals.

I am guessing we will still play the sips every year anyway.

I think moving Vandy west makes the most sense.

Yeah so Arkansas can compete against MSU, UM, LSU, Missouri, A&M, and Vandy for the West? That ain't happening dude. Weakest half-conference in America.

if they expand the west then Alabama and Auburn will have to follow to the east, only makes sense. They are not going to expand the west then keep the same teams within them.

No, what makes sense is if only ONE of those teams moves East.

Somebody would have to go East. Naturally that would be Auburn. If you want to keep up the AU/AL game and also the AL/TN game, then Vandy west is an option.

If the cross-divisional rivals aren't as important anymore (which seems like they won't be in a larger conference) then you can just send AU east and make AL their permanent west opponent. I'm fine scratching all the permanent divisional rivalries, personally.

The Big XII ruined the NU/0U rivalry. I think the SEC is smart enough to not mess with AU/Bama

the SEC are going to keep rivalries alive, no way they go for that. 100 year traditions are hard to beat which is why they will move both of them or leave them alone. No way they break up Auburn or Alabama.

They would, and make each other their permanent east-west rivalry, it's not hard to grasp.

The SEC could take three teams and send Arkansas packing.

The point is, AL/TN was important enough last go around to keep intact. Has that rivalry lost its luster?

You move AU east, and make AL their permanent west opponent, do you throw out AL/TN?

That's the point. How do you keep all the rivalries that SEC fans to keep?

I'd think you'd throw out UA/Tenn. I know it's a rivalry, but look at what kind of shite sandwich you have if you do it any other way.
