A basketball rivalry with Mizzou in the SEC would not hurt my feelings.

A lot, but without the knowledge of who's even on their team.

I'm okay with A&M, but not Missouri. A&M brings a little prestige with em but Missouri brings nothing IMO.

If the majority of OU fans are like the ones I saw then I completely agree with you.

God this is so true. The last loudmouth, mouthbreathing "Sooner Fan" who I had the displeasure of engaging in conversation at the sports bar didn't even realize that Arkansas and OU were in different conferences. MFer was even wearing a 0U ballcap at the time. A loud and ugly people, those Sooner fans....

ESPN wants the market due to ratings and I can understand that, I say screw them. Let them become the next Notre Dame with a big ole independent contract and must win seasons which have them with a new coach every 3 or 4 seasons. This would hurt Texas more than it would help and I doubt they would see another National Championship in a long long time.

For the record I would love A&M and Mizzou to the SEC, LSU and Arkansas could finally have rivals.

Mizou is a big state - more populous than Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, or Louisiana. Missouri has two major market cities in St Louis and Kansas City - both markets would add a lot of eyes to the SEC. Missouri is arguably a better "get" than Oklahoma.

I wouldnt mind seeing Mizzou added. I got some friends that live right outside of Columbia that are Mizzou fans and boosters. That would be some easy tickets to score
