Texas has a hyper inflated record against the rest of the SWC because back when most of the other schools started playing football they were about the size of a smallish community college.
Texas put a LOT of wins in the bank during that time period.
When the other schools, like the Aggies and Arkansas, became large enough to field competitive teams the Texas record starts becoming much less impressive and even downright pedestrian.
