Really is amazing how they came out in droves and in denial. Scarred and scared is what I'm reading. Even though ESPN and both Texas and ATM head coaches acknowledge its a rivalry lol.

Of course we're rivals. Neither side can escape it.
We don't need the game though. In fact, it's better if we set Alabama/LSU/Florida as the benchmark instead of Texas.

6 pages of this thread are Aggies denying the ATM/ UT rivalry, and several even claimed all-male school status to soften the historical arse pounding given by Texas. Did you read?

When is the last time Texas A&M won their conference? Or even finished better than third?
Quick google search only shows results back to 2002 (and they haven't finished higher than third during that time).
They appear to have a history of starting fast, raising hopes, and then having them crushed late in the year.
Sumlin seems to have developed a good system for giving himself a nice career and good paycheck at College Station. Beat up on OOC patsies, lose home to SEC opponents (thereby eliminating all NC talk), and then winning a Bowl Game that ultimately means nothing (except apparently to the BMA's who keep giving him raises.) Well done Kevin Sumlin.

I don't recall Alabama trying to create its own network where it could have its recruits shown on the national stage at the expense of Auburn, LSU, etc.
Oh and if LSU had to relocate a home game to Austin due to flooding do you think the Longhorns would show the same level of compassion to your school like LSU did to South Carolina?
