Yes. All great college players must immediately play well in the NFL, or they were overrated.

While there is no doubt Mark is a great football player, he should have at least shown something this year that leads us to believe he's an NFL caliber 1st stringer.

As of right now, Stevan Ridley has shown that and Ingram has not. It's not an LSU back vs Bama back thing, as Richardson has been tearing shite up..it's just one of those strange things

Pierre Thomas and Chris Ivory say hey.

Mark Ingram is mother fricking garbage.

Saints are terrible at run blocking, awesome pass blockers but suck arse as run blockers

They seem fine with Ivory and Thomas in the game.

maybe if the saints would use him in some other way, besides as a human battering ram

Chris Ivory is a beast being used like this. So you are saying Ivory is better than Ingram?

Pierre and Ivory do just fine? Maybe if he'd get off the Alabama sidelines like Uncle Rico and hit the weight room, he'd do a little better. What a wasted pick.

Don't even act like Pierre and Ivory are used like Ingram is. For a few games we used him right, then we went back to just bringing him into to run it straight ahead into bad blocking. When it's obvious he's only in the game to run he can't do shite about it. He needs to be out there for multiple plays, gotta go PA, gotta throw it to him, gotta let him block, etc. When he's just gonna run the D will always stop him.

Saints don't use MI right, and he isn't the type of back that will succeed by sharing carries. He needs to go somewhere other than NOLA where he can be used right, or we just need to start making him the main back if we really want production out of him.

Yeah, it's one of the top offenses in the NFL's fault for not using him right. Maybe he's not doing something right.

So its all a conspiracy by the Saints coaches to make Ingram a failure?

Watch the saints run blocking, shifty backs never do well with the Saints, backs like Thomas and Ivory would do that any where. If we had a good run blocking scheme Ingram would do just fine.

Pierre Thomas = 4.8 ypc
Chris Ivory = 5.4 ypc
Darren Sproles = 4.5 ypc

Mark Ingram = LoL ypc

Seems like only 1 guy having issues being a RB with the Saints.

There is an easy answer to this. Stevan Ridley doesn't waste all his game energy jumping up and down repeatedly and bumping chests with college players like Mark Ingram does every Saturday. By Sunday, Ingram is wiped out.

So the excuse Bama homers are rolling with is the Saints OL blocks for all their other RBs but not for Ingram.

Seems solid enough

Saints are a pass first Team, what doesn't make sense, our run blocking sucks regardless
