Why is Stevan Ridley having more success in the pros than mark Ingram? was Mark Ingram overrated coming out college because of his superior oline?

Yes. All great college players must immediately play well in the NFL, or they were overrated.

for stealing my idea. Secondly for bringing it here. We all like each other now since it is Bowl Season. Last year was an anomaly.

Don't all rb's do well in the Patriots system? Then disappear after a couple years.

You can't deny that Ingram hasn't lived up to the expectations the saints had for him. Yes he has been playing good recently but he isn't playing like a heisman trophy winner.

Sucks to be a running back for the Saints.

Saints Board?

Or does this have something to do with you being mad about Bama winning the SECCG?

Saints don't use MI right, and he isn't the type of back that will succeed by sharing carries. He needs to go somewhere other than NOLA where he can be used right, or we just need to start making him the main back if we really want production out of him.

maybe if the saints would use him in some other way, besides as a human battering ram.

That's not true - he's playing about like many Heisman winners. RG3 and Cam Newton are recent exceptions.

But I think now and have always thought that Richardson has the brighter future in the NFL. I love Ingram's heart, but I think TR is working with a little more pure talent.

Not really. This is the best Patriots running game since 2004

The offense IMO. He has been playing well in a time share minus the Falcons game. From what I have seen from this season, he would go in for a play or two and run. Then he would come out before getting into any type of rhythm. Not to mention, the defense knew that Ingram in=run play.

Ingram needs to start producing.

Needs to bring the same energy he currently brings to Bama's sideline.

Pierre and Ivory do just fine? Maybe if he'd get off the Alabama sidelines like Uncle Rico and hit the weight room, he'd do a little better. What a wasted pick.
