No, I stated that other running backs have flourished. You, or someone else, asked to provide an example. I did. Now you're relegating to crying over his stature and the type of running back he is. But that wasn't the question. Mark Ingram is garbage, deal with it.

No, my point was that Sproles has flourished because he fits the offense and is a completely different RB

Saints don't use MI right, and he isn't the type of back that will succeed by sharing carries. He needs to go somewhere other than NOLA where he can be used right, or we just need to start making him the main back if we really want production out of him.
ingram is not as good as ridley - fact.

He's so bad and does so little that he won't be used up so when he leaves we can really see how good he is. I can't wait for his emergence as a Pro Bowler at another team because that's what it is.

Because Mark Ingram is on one hell of a shitty Saints team. He'd be killing it at Baltimore. But the Saints are trash.

Maybe if he'd get off the Alabama sidelines like Uncle Rico and hit the weight room, he'd do a little better. What a wasted pick.

Completely agree. If Ray Rice played for anyone else he would by Mark Ingram.

Sproles, huh? Bad answer.

Ingram is dog shite.

Please explain to me how Darren Sproles has not flourished with the Saints.

Ridley has a burst and actually changes direction
Ingram runs full speed in Grubbs and Evans backs
Ingram runs full speed in Grubbs and Evans backs

Ingram isn't a good fit for this Saints offense. It was a wasted pick because of how they utilize him.
It's a wasted pick because he's not a good player. Sorry, busts happen all the time and he's a bust. It happens to EVERY college at some points. Not every 1st round pick is just in a "Bad situation". In fact Thomas and Ivory can both run with power just like Ingram and do a MUCH better job at it. Ingram just benefitted from an amazing OL in college. In the NFL you rarely have an OL that would simply dominate every opponent they play. You get hit at the LOS and very often, pretty clear Ingram isn't used to that.
If the Saints had no other back like Ingram, you might be onto something, but Ivory and Thomas both are similarish and both have had way more success running the football. Sproles is absolutely a completely different back and probably skews that "pass 72.8% of time without Ingram and 40% with him" stat...we throw it probably 90% of the time with Sproles in.
The Saints have tried to get Ingram rolling on several occasions and they're simply wasting carries at this point. They need to see what, if any trade value he has, because he's never coming around.
If you cant run in the Saints offense chances are you arent very good. It's not a tough system to get yards in, but Ingram has made it very difficult on himself.

The minute the NFL starts allowing first downs for gaining two yards, Mark Ingram will be a hot commodity. Dude will flourish in that system. NFL hates Mark Ingram.

Pierre Thomas and Ivory have no problem.
Why do you think that is ?
Because they only setup Ingram to fail, DUH

"Ingram plays for a shite team that has NEVER been able to consistently run the football . Ridley plays for a team that has great play calling that is designed to fit the roster. Big difference here. Swap teams and performance would be opposite for them both."
So explain to me why the Saints were a top 5 rushing team last season if they "NEVER" have been able to run the ball consistently?

Nobody to on the Saints can run the damn ball! Nobody! Sproles flourished elsewhere and before long will be forgotten about playing for the NO Brees. Sproles can catch out of the backfield but that's about it. The Saints suck running the ball and that problem was there before Ingram. You're putting it on Ingram solely because he's from Bama.

Because they setup Thomas, Ivory and Sproles for success. Not Ingram. We've been over this!

Nah Ingram just isn't as good a pro. It happens. He needs to lose some weight so he can be a little more shifty. That's what Ridley did

As pointed out in the post right above yours, the Saints were a Top 5 rushing team in the NFL last season. Sproles actually led the team in rushing with 603 yards and 6.9 yards per carry.
