Didn't Mullen claim Florida as a lateral move

He is going to have to do some work at UF to build it back up to lateral.

He said that when Geoff Collins left.

It would be fun to list the coaches who hated Mullen the most. Candidates could be opposing coaches or staff who worked for him.

My candidates:

1.Mark Hudspeth
2.Geoff Collins
3.Manny Diaz
4.Hugh Freeze

Pruitt is a meathead that recruits well because he relates well to the high school kid mentality. He isn't the guy you want leading your program. Good call by MSU.

When did Moorehead coach directly under Sandusky iyo?

Well I heard that he was in the very locker room at PSU when McQueary testified that he had heard from somebody who heard from somebody 20 years ago that Schiano might know about Sandusky so clearly he guilty

State is actually above UT presently and record wise since 2010 almost identical to UF. Records since 2010 are UF 60-41 and State is 64-39. Program wise we are holding our own in the SEC.
Mullen came into a great situation at State as Croom had left a full cup board along with a great recruiting class (2009). To his credit he took advantage of that and built upon it. What most do not realize is that from 2011-2013 he had some uneven years at State. Florida will probably not have the patience to ride out the low times to get to the good times. He will not be an overnight success at UF.

Now great credit to CDM for leaving State in a great situation for the new coach whomever he may be. He is walking into a gold mine for 2018.

really like what I read about Moorhead.

Considered the #1 assistant in the nation
Was a successful head coach at the FCS level
Was a successful Power 5 coordinator
Offensive innovator

I'm gonna laugh my arse off if we get a home run hire in a week and Tennessee still can't get a coach

There are mumblings Grantham is trying for the job as well, which is why he hasn't posted a Gator thing on twitter like the other two have.

Unless that updated of course. I would be a fan. Not my first choice in DC.

I hate Venables deep down in my heart for the negative recruiting he did against A&M while he was at OU. He crushed our soul back then.

Hope MSU hires the other guy.
