He'll be the starter just because of experience. I personally think Brendan Nosovitch will be the starter by week 3 or 4. He is mobile/physical like Connor Shaw, he may even have a stronger arm than Thompson.

God, I hope that "ranked team beater" Tompford hangs on till we get him in Week 5.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if Printz beats out Mauk

Kentucky fans, is there a chance that Barker starts the '14 opener?

I will be shocked if Barker isn't the starter honestly. None of the players currently playing this year are going to be any better it appears.

Well, if they were ranked 10th at the end, they weren't the #1 team in the nation...you serous, Clark? Teams that were ranked #1 at any point before or during the season most likely will end up in the Top 25 at the end of the season. SC knocked off the #1 ranked Bama team in '10, but Bama didn't finish that year as #1, so they weren't the #1 team that year. I know this beating ranked teams is odd to MIzz, the last team y'all beat that finished the season ranked in the Top 25, was OU in 2010.

So then according to you the #1 team in the nation has lost only about 20 or so times in the history of college football?

Ok.

Are Zow, Woodson, and Lewis suddenly not black?
You've had three African-American starting QBs in the 40+ years since the SEC integrated. By comparison, AU has four African-American QB who have started games on our current roster.

And why are Auburn fans so obsessed with the skin color of Alabama QBs?
Maybe its because Alabama fans spend so much time trying to say we're raycisss.

I'd be absolutely shocked if it's not Driskel.

So you have trouble with the quarterback position?

Not at present.

And not next year, either. We're guaranteed to have at least one QB who's started and won at least one game in his collegiate career. In fact we'll probably have three.

How about your team? Pretty well fixed for 2014, I assume?

If I didn't want to revel in it so much I'd probably feel sorry for the Tide next year in regards to their QB situation.

We will be fine. Auburn has proven this year that you don't need a good quarterback to win most of the SEC schedule. Just let the running backs go wild.
