So you're admitting that Shaw does indeed cast a wide net, hoping to get kids to commit, but that he is being dishonest insomuch as his people are not vetting the prospects first, before they commit, making sure they at least have a chance to qualify?

And that's not to say that SEC programs do not get kids to commit, them place them and hope they qualify later in a prep school or JuCo somewhere ... but we're talking about something completely different when it comes to Stanford, according to Shaw and you, amirite?

What baffles me here is that right now this guy has recruits, to whom he has offered scholarships, who are from the south. Does he think insulting everyone a recruit has ever known is a good strategy?
