Yep. It's pretty funny that when a Bama fan suggested this last week they thought it was stupid. Now that Moobs Spurrier thinks it's cool, they're all on board.

I was referencing the game that didnt count 9-6

Can you imainge what would happen if bama lost that game but then still went to the sec championship game becuase the game didn't count. it would be chaos.

It'd be awesome. Especially if Lsu didn't, because Tn beat them in a conference game that did count.

Oh, I know what you were referencing.

I was just reflecting on the general stupidity of certain schedule-obsessed LSU fans.

Not to mention 2010 Atlanta...what an embarassment for the old has-been ball coach.

Beating Florida isn't even that big a deal these days. That's why this is so funny to me.

Wish Bama could have played them last year too with that anemic offense they put on the field.

I really don't think they even care if logic is part of their complaints anymore. Just something to always be doing.

Uhh, you Forget about Au vs. UGA?

TBH, I am all for rotating all the games. The league has changed with the new additions and the schedule needs to change as well. So we really need the 9 games, rotate 3. We can go without playing UT every year, it would make that much more anticipated.

Or the Divisions need to be adjusted:

Dynasty Division: Bama, UT, UGA, AU, UF, UK, Vandy

Wannabe Division: A&M, LSU, USC, ARK, MSST, OM, Mizzo

That would be a little unbalanced as the Dynasty Division would have a tougher schedule but we'd keep all the traditional rivalries.

I was going to respond to someone who said this has been going on a decade+. So I guess the second rival was a killer as well? I guess the LSU fans were using AU's schedule as an example of the travesty?

Truth of the matter is the issue at hand is only the bridge schedule, which has only actualy happened one year, with the other year yet to be played, and yet to be determined as far as true strength.

At most the gripe is 10 years old, but in reality, 1 fricking year. They seem to gloss over the fact that before last year they played UK, UT, and Vandy. But use last year to say that equals every year.

So 1 year in terms of a schedule that once took 10 years and now 12 years to complete in its entirety.

Simple solution to the problem. Win your fricking games and stop whining about the program who stole your thunder

So, no one has brought up Georgia having to play shitty Auburn teams? Tennessee is better than Auburn for goodness sake.

Except USMC Gator. We all know it's his favorite game of the year after UGA/UF!!!11

Actually, I think he enjoys the Iron Bowl and TSIO MORE than UGA/UF.
