nah when I see kids like up in Ohio deciding to go to college in little towns in Bama, yeah, I think they probably were enticed with a nice car and other perks. It isn't like these little Alabama towns are Hilton Head or something. :)
You realize that people are migrating from the Midwest in record numbers to the South, right?

Texas played a very small role in the Civil War. Their contribution paled in comparison to the Old South.

yeah for jobs but they going to cool places like Charleston SC or Greenville SC. Not small towns middle of nowhere in Bama. Nothing really wrong with those towns but dont' see why a good recruit would want to spend 4 years of youth in a state so far away from home but not even be near beach or mountains

You know, you don't HAVE to wear cowboy hats just b/c you in texas. lol
I clearly made a mistake earlier when I said this DC left LSU to go to Texas AM b/c Texas AM has more intellectuals. lol

On the other hand, the Old South played a large role in preventing Texas's fall to Mexico...
They were re-frying beans and learning to dance around sombreros when the southerners showed up to save their state.

Would rather have to drive across country in a compact electric car with a couple of drunk LSU fans and Stonehog than pull for OSU even once.
I will leave it at that.
I will leave it at that.

lol,
you tell most people they can live in SC or they can live in Bama, and they gladly going to take SC. Two of the best downtowns in the country right there. I do like Huntsville though. B'ham would be ok if it had less traffic and the downtown was more attractive

UAB was going to build a new stadium to help make B'ham more attractive, but Bama said NO.
