Missouri State torched Mizzou's defense the entire game. It wasn't a fluke play or two, they were consistently gashing them the entire game.
That does not bode well for Mizzou because every SEC team they play will have much better athletes than Missouri State.
If you know you need to score at least 50 to have a chance at winning, that usually does not end well.

To be honest, our DL wasn't very impressive either. If you struggle to even hold your own in the trenches, especially in the SEC well...disaster awaits.

No they didn't. They did nothing in the second half. Had like 100 total yards. They didn't have any sustained drives outside of the first one. The rest were busted plays. Completely blown coverage assignments or several missed tackles.
