Of course, he is a pass-first player on a team that is not in the Top 25. So, I mean, he might have better numbers somewhere else, but I doubt it. I don't think he'd be ahead of Hield regardless.

He's a beast, no doubt, and I definitely noticed tonight, and in past games, that he is a very unselfish player. He's a team oriented big time talent which is rare.

I like him a lot. He seems like a good kid ... probably shouldn't have said what he said - not that it's that big of a deal but some voters will likely hold it against him.

I dont understand why Hield is projected as low as he is in the mocks. He is the best player in the country.

He might be the most talented, he's far from the best player. Superstars elevate their team, Simmons is soft when it comes to certain things.

Because he's not tall he is Jimmer basically

Kriss Dunn will be the safer pick if you need a guard.

Plus he's a 5th year guy

He gets a lot off long misses some think he can't create one on one vs bigger guys. I think he can though.

His ball-handling has improved greatly. He can get his shot off quick, too.

He's not a great defender, but he's not a bad one either. His size isn't amazing for an NBA 2-guard, but I don't think it's a huge issue.

He's been moving up mock drafts I'm pretty sure.

I think the Bulls may want to try to get Dunn. They could be close again with him. Especially if Noah comes back. Rose could be sent for a 1.

If the Clippers can trade Blake for the top pick to get Simmons would you do it?

I think I'd keep Blake.

I'm not sure what to think of Valentine and Melo Trimble going into the NBA

I see them both having good careers possibly better than Simmons just based on they'll be on better teams.

He's right but how dumb is he to sign with such a shitty coach?

No, no one is better than he is at the college level, especially as a complete player. Hield will win player of the year because he has a had a phenomenal year though on a great team and is a senior.

Simmons is a much more versatile player than Griffin, can simply do more with him. If he develops a jump shot the sky is the limit.

Hield is having a great year but he's never played like this before. He's a 3 point shooter and probably 6'3/6'4 as a pure 2-guard so his NBA stock wont be extremely high.

Simmons is the best pro prospect by far,And to the people that don't see that it's obvious you don't know shite about basketball. When the guy from Oklahoma gets in the NBA they will have numerous guys that can shut him down. Simmons is the type of player that gets all his teammates involved, while he's pulling down double-digit rebounds and scored in double digits. But hey this is the Sec rant most of you know more than every NBA draft expert and NBA analyst. Most of America is not used to seeing a unselfish highly fundamental basketball player, we are used to seeing the flashy look at me player. A great basketball player is not just about scoring points

Tyler Hansbrough,

Tebow in football

Pro's are a different game. Why draft Hield when you can draft a younger player with his skill set and develop them. Heart can win you games in college (Cinderellas every year in ncaa tournament). Talent wins in NBA, some people are just good college players because they out work everyone

Some of you LSU fans, in both football and basketball, seem like you would rather have the better pro prospect than the better college player. It's madness.

In the NBA? Yes. I like the NBA more than college. Refs impact the game too much.

Football no and I don't know anyone that does

This, no one is arguing about who is the best pro prospect.
