At least ESPN supported their position by comparing Hield's 3 point made/attempts to Simmons'.

You could maybe make a case for a couple other guys like Ulis, but for the most part he is not.

He's the best pro prospect by far. He's one of the top 5 college players in the country, but there are a couple of guys who have maybe been better college players (I guess, if that makes sense) than him this season.
Of course, he is a pass-first player on a team that is not in the Top 25. So, I mean, he might have better numbers somewhere else, but I doubt it. I don't think he'd be ahead of Hield regardless.

He's easily the best player in the SEC. I would put him at #2 nationally.

If Simmons isn't the top pick there needs to be an investigation or a real reason, like the Sixers taking Hield or Dunn

I think Hield falls in draft because he's not really big. I can see a team like Milwaukee winning the lottery and taking Dunn
