No. LSU is on a steep decline. Hopefully we won't follow this hire up with an even bigger disaster ala Archer to Hallman. I believe Alleva will be gone with O though and hopefully LSU brings in a semi competent AD.

I did hear about Coastie. Very sad.

Everything runs together after a while.

The worst part about it is that I was in grad school when I started posting here and now it's been years since I finished. YEARS ARE PASSING!!!

If I was a Nostradamus, I would have phrased my post as: The mighty striped beast had rid itself of the stubborn one but found itself in a bigger quandary as another from the bowels of the swamp rose up to take stead of the beast when the weak kneed one collapsed again. As the fates of both come forth the beast will pray that a hero will rise up in their place to direct it back to greatness

Lets see, Ed Orgeron is making millions off of a fake sport and you are making nothing while giving your life to it. I would say that he is pretty intelligent.

I never thought Les was intelligent. LSU fans embraced the unintelligent way he came across as 'quirky', but I'm pretty sure that deep-down everyone thought he was a dum-dum

Doesn't he have a degree in economics from Michigan?

He may have had some intelligence at one time. But just like actors and other celebrities there are a bunch who fall to pieces the moment they find the success they worked a long time to achieve. You CAN equate him losing his mind and just about throwing ALL he worked for away for some new poontang to what? lack of control, wrong priorities? no care or respect for not only Himself but his own family and his supposed "beloved LSU!" I expect that kind of reaction from a 20 year old maybe. Most of us would not be able to look our kids in the face after his meltdown. Really. College Football Championship then ? Instant divorce, chasing every woman in sight, running all over in public with no shirt!? I guess he just wanted a title and sacks of cash out of his whole career? The sacks of cash that idiot LSU alumni gave him for making LSU look like a back woods, hillbilly, stump jumping, gang of fools that we apparently are. In reality though I am willing to bet at least 60% or more college or pro level coaches can not maintain a long term marriage. He should be thrown off campus already. Actually after last season when the wheels came off.

In hindsight its probably a good thing we don't know what he is saying most of the time!
