It's football. You don't need to be intelligent.

This.

Though that being said, I think 'ol BeBe is more intelligent than he comes off as being. Kind of like Miles, in a way.

Actually, yes.  During his interviews he has a fluid nature about his responses. Few dumbish pauses and such.  I also think his path is one that is not necessarily based on ignorance or stupidity. Much of his dips/failures have been the results of an overly emotional person mixed with too much animalistic intensity. He's not stupid.....he is intense on a basic level.  It's too early to dismiss him......to be fair.  Everyone can write an O-led LSU squad off, but there is the very real possibility a lot of crow will be served......granted,

they may fail as well. We shall see.

This is the correct answer. I am on board the "crow will be served" train. Making LSU great again. There's more of Mattis than Miles about Coach O.

Trust me on this one. Coach O doesn't really have a thick cajun down the bayou accent. What he has is a deep gravely voice.

Intelligent man? I would say above avg.

Football IQ is off the charts.

Probably. The way he landed the head coaching job was downright Machiavellian.

And I don't know if I would say he is intelligent - a better word to use for him is cunning.

If he fails it won't be because of lack of intelligence.

FTR, Bear never sounded "intelligent" either.

I just think he's simple.

One team one heartbeat sounds like it's from a bad Friday Night Lights knockoff.

And who has to be a head coach to learn through mistakes that you don't conduct a full pad scrimmage during a rain delay that results in a 28-3 loss to Wake Forest?

Seems like something you'd learn sooner.

What?

How are you doing Bella?

What is going on with you?

You finish law school or still at it? At least I think that's what you were doing the last time you were around.
