I don't think he would score high on an IQ test, but I think he's a street smart guy who has figured out how to let your personality and likeability get you far in life.

Ive been in corporate America for last 10 years and I can rattle off tons of people that I've met that probably couldn't pass a 5th grade exam but kill it in the interview room.

My mother went to school with miles in 9th grade. Said he was an idiot.

Coach O is a clever Cajun. Has practical smarts. He is not gonna impress the real smart people but he isn't as dumb as he looks

He seems to be intelligent to me. I've listened to his interviews and he says a lot of good things. He has a thick accent, but what does that mean? Nothing.

But, we are talking about football and can he produce on the field?

The Alabama games showed he was in over his head during that game. No adjustments. But, he had Ensminger calling plays. Let him get his guys and see what he can do.

He might surprise. He needs to be quiet about what he's going to do, though. We almost lost Myles Brennan because of his comments at a press conference.

Brennan is still committed, btw.

No. LSU is on a steep decline. Hopefully we won't follow this hire up with an even bigger disaster ala Archer to Hallman. I believe Alleva will be gone with O though and hopefully LSU brings in a semi competent AD.

He came from down the bayou to land a job coaching at a school in the toughest conference in college football. He worked his arse off to get where he is. I think he is pretty damn smart.

He doesn't drink any longer arse whip!! Be careful in life with judging a person by their looks, how they communicate in public and how they speak.

Just like with Les Miles, intelligence and articulation are not synonymous. Hell, throw George W. Bush into that mix.
