It's a civil not criminal case. Taking the 5th will not work.

You might want to ask for a refund if you paid for your GED in law.

You can assert your 5th amendment right in a civil trial just as you can in a criminal one. The only difference (and it is a big one) is that doing so can't be held against you in a criminal trial but the act of failing to answer a question can be considered in a civil case.

Can any school or employer file suit against a testing company? I am sure I should have made a 36 and that is what I told the interviewer at my company.

It's what happens when a newbie booster and a newbie coach get together and try to play the game. Busted over a used mustang is among the worst recruiting frick ups I've ever heard of.

lol! Your coach didn't know where his players were taking their exams? A simple spread sheet could have prevented this. It is the responsibility oh the coaching staff, head coach and recruiting coordinator in particular,to rrecognize red flags in testing procedures, not the ACT.

The thought of a D1 head coach not knowing where his recruits take their tests is amusing.

Lack of institutional control? Probably not.
Lack of program administration control? Absolutely
Not ready for the big show? Absolutely

Well sure. It is easy to file a suit.

Now winning that suit is a different matter.......

you are out of your mind if you think the NCAA is going to drop a legit punishment on roy williams and UNC.

Now ole miss and ULL might get gang-raped by the ncaa because they are runts.

Coach Freeze and Ross Bjork are going nuts on Twitter over this. This is truly magical.

Charged for 30 violations, probably academic fraud.

Don't think those former University Presidents at the NCAA aren't gonna put the hammer down.

They did nothing to North Carolina for fake degrees. Why would they do anything today?

yes they did. the football team got a bowl ban and the school got put on probation by the accreditation board. i mean what did you expect? the death penalty and the school to be shut down?
