I bet Robert Nkemdiche took his ACT there as well.

You said we should receive NOA this term. I was only talking about the fantasy parts of your post, not the real life things that happened at ULL.

Bless your heart man. SHOW ME THE RULING BY THE NCAA!!!!
They have not ruled. Read the link above!

So you are saying, the findings of an investigation by the NCAA into a ULL employees and the university of ULL, which makes no mention of Ole Miss, should make Ole Miss scared because said employee worked at Ole Miss for 6 months 8 years ago.
Yea I am terrified. Too bad Ole Miss doesn't have any lawyers that could throw that bull shite Hersey out. Oh Wait...

Try again.

During those interviews, the enforcement staff believed the former assistant football coach may have known of or may have been involved in NCAA rules violations concerning academic issues while at another member institution.

Nope... I'm saying the same thing your paper is saying!
Sorry you don't like that.

the enforcement staff was testing information that suggested Saunders knew of, or had been involved in, NCAA rules violations of an academic nature while employed at Ole Miss

Ole Miss became linked to the NCAA investigation into Saunders and Louisiana-Lafayette when NCAA enforcement staff interviewed Saunders and a football player on Dec. 16, 2013. Legal counsel for Ole Miss was also part of the interview.
And that guy just got hit with, to my knowledge, the largest show cause of a coach.

I can only imagine what Christmas mornings were like for you as a kid. You take wishful thinking to a whole new level

I hate to pee down your air hole while your deep sea diving, but the NCAA is like a toothless, old Granny. They don't even bark anymore.

but what about unc and the decades of cheating?
The fact that there was never any real follow up across Div 1 after the UNC thing still astounds me. I am guessing that the investigators probably found A LOT of fraud going on so the NCAA ( at the member schools urging) defined the deviancy down.
You don't really think that Trent Richardson was a true 3.0 student when he had to take the ACT 5 times?

They had become that way, but like I said, that was under a different person. Since Miami, they have been a different animal.

Looks like they hit the coach hard with an 8 yr show cause. But they won't hammer OM for a coach that was employed for only 6 months, 8 freaking years ago.
What could they do, vacate Nutt's shitty seasons? Who gives a shite?

Why do we care what the Clarion Ledger has to say in comparison to the NCAA report?
MButterfly, this is the second time that I've pulled my kids out of school, because of you, promising them that the NCAA was going to finally break out the sanctions on Ole Miss and yet again here I am stuck at home with a crying 7-year old who doesn't understand why those TSUN cheating bears keep getting away with it.

Not really. Social media and technology allow people to take photos now on the spot. I've seen so many expensive cars, jewelry, etc being driven/ worn by college athletes. I'm certain some of those photos have been sent to the NCAA for review, and nothing.
Here is the truth: money rules. And college football has become a commercial, money making machine. The NCAA is going to keep getting further out of the picture as these 19 year olds generate millions in income for schools.

MButterfly are you a state fan? You have started several topics on this and always trying to turn it on Ole Miss and the NCAA is going to get us. I have no idea what goes on in the recruiting world, but I feel bad for you that you waste this much of your time worrying about what a school you didn't go to or praying we get in trouble. Honestly we might, I don't know. My guess is we get a few scholarship reductions and maybe a fine, but this isn't quite what UNC is facing. Get a life and find something else to do with your time. The whole thing has been about ULL and until they actually come out and say something about Ole Miss, try getting laid or working or studying if you're still in school.
