Probably most Bama fans here don't really give a damn who your next coach might be. I think most Rantards would agree is how bad you guys (AD, boosters, BoT) have mismanagement the situation with information leaks. I haven't seen one post from you guys about you guys Seniors or Juniors, or how many of your coaching assistants will have to find new jobs or families displaced. How can these guys or football players even focus with stench cowardly aroma in the air. Take the gun behind the shed and put em' down not allow the ole' dog to die a painful death.

I would bet money that if Les is gone, he exits with a helluva lot more class than some of the L5U boosters and media people have exhibited.

Yep. It's terrible what L5U is doing to these kids. They seem to want to lose to insure Miles gets unceremoniously shite canned.

I want to ask LSU fans here for an honest answer to the question "Is there a schism in the fanbase in Louisiana?" I'm honestly curious because Tiger Rant seems to lean pretty heavily toward one side, but Internet message boards don't always reflect the views of the general population, especially in cases of sports, where the Internet population would tend to be more passionate and possess stronger feelings on such issues. Does the general division of sentiment on TD mirror that of the larger population or not? If it doesn't, is there a Ranter willing to say so?

Seems to be a whole lot of anger directed at LSU for terminating Miles. I get that he's a great guy and good for the conference, hell that's what makes this so tough. But take away the sound bites, the one liners and the funny talk and you've got a guy that runs a pretty sloppy team.
Ya'll ALL know this and you've seen it for years. Miles isn't a bad guy but he's a mediocre coach that is living off of a lot of talent - that he recruited. But it's not holding up, eventually you have to coach and we're tired of the sloppy, undisciplined, disorganized style of football that we're now playing. It's ugly and we want it to change.
For the Bama posters, don't flatter yourselves, this isn't about losing to Bama, it's more about being 0-3 in November and frankly shitting the bed nearly EVERY November.
Will our next coach be better than Miles? We hope. But after 11 years we know what's not going to change - Les Miles - and that is a song we're tired of hearing.
We love the guy and wish him well, but it's time to move on.

Not an L5U fan but living here and half my family being L5U fans and alums I would say it does. If anything before the fire Les movement finally took of this year I would say this site was probably more pro Miles than the reality.
