Not really a justification, just more to show that it is all about business. Those flirtations with other universities were great for Les and made him a very rich man.

Unfortunately, once you get that kind of money, you are expected to produce more than 500 conference teams. The Athletic Department is just doing the same now in the name of "business."

For the record, I had thought Les should have gotten another year, given the mass exodus of early departures the past few years and the because of how young this team is. 2016 was always supposed to be the year, but the team has appeared to be regressing since the Alabama game instead of improving from week to week.
