Some friends are coming over to my house to watch the game. I can't wait. I love this time of the year. It is a three day weekend too.

How about you?

You can't be serious. You're docking points from Miles because his predecessor did these things? I don't care who you are or who came before you, that's fricking impressive and should absolutely never be downplayed.

I am not going to take the time to read all 7 pages of this but this is what I believe once a coach leaves or is fired and another coach is hired then the players left over are that coaches players.

When Saban left and Miles was hired those players became Miles.. just how I feel about the whole thing

The only "facts" you've used have been those selectively applied to support your ridiculous claims. Run along now

Saban took over a team that, in the previous 4 years was 26-24, had never won the division, 0 BCS Bowl appearances, and was a combined 0-8 against LSU/Auburn.

Miles took over a team that, in the previous 4 years, was 40-12, with 2 SEC Championships, 1 National Championship, and 2 BCS Bowl appearances.

What about that isn't factual? If you have any other facts I left out that you think will refute my point, then by all means, feel free to let me know what I missed?

..just to add to my point, I'm not trying to turn this into a Saban vs. Miles post.

To sum up my point: Miles inherited a successful program, where as Saban inherited a mediocre one. That's really all I'm saying. I think most would agree with that, but there are apparently some who have decided to wear blinders.
