Honest question. Is there ANY stance he could take where you guys wouldn't criticize him? I realize some of this is trolling. But I also think some of you guys are serious.

That's what I love about corndogs...even when they agree with each other, they're douchebags about it.

I agree with Saban on this. Only problem I have is him talking about it being a competitive disadvantage because Alabama spends more money recruiting than just about, if not, every school. Is that a competitive disadvantage? Their facilities are second to none. Is that a competitive disadvantage? They are on national tv a lot. Is that a competitive disadvantage? The top few programs in the country all have a competitive disadvantage over lesser funded programs. Just a fact!

The difference is that there are no rules in place to keep other schools from doing what Bama has done. The SEC has a rule in place prohibiting it's members from doing what the Big 10 is doing.

Not understanding the overall story - typical LSU fan.

Congratulations, you lived up to your potential.

There are no rules in place to prevent any program from spending unGodly amounts of $$ on their recruiting & facilities. Any program is free to match Saban's salary and pay their own HC just as much or more. Any program can expand and renovate their facilites with the best money can buy.

There are SEC conference rules in place that prevent SEC coaches from participating in camps that other conferences allow.

I'm willing to bet the SEC will relent this summer. They will listen to the coaches & AD's and pull the plug on the current rules, espcially when Harbaugh gets tons of publicity in the heart of SEC country at the Prattville camp.
